Grayson had his 2 month check up today except he's not exactly 2 months yet so it didn't go as planned. He was supposed to have his shots but since he's 4 days away from being 2 months they couldn't do it. Apparently those 4 days make a big difference, especially when Grayson goes to school and they see that they were done too early. That being said, next week Weston and Grayson will both be getting shots. Weston for his 15 month and Gray for his 2 month.
The doctor still checked up on Grayson while we were there. He is a whopping 14 pounds already which puts him in the 97th percentile for weight. He's also 2 feet long putting him the 90th percentile for height. The doctor said he's doing very well with muscle control and everything. He was pretty impressed that nursing alone was meeting Grayson's caloric needs since he is so big. That makes you feel so good as a mother (even though there's not really much you can do to make "good" or "bad" milk). With Weston I never made enough and I prayed that it would be different this time and it seems to be that way! That's really all we found out today. I'm not really looking forward to next week when I'll have 2 screaming boys but I'll have to suck it up. :)

Week 13: 365
Week 13!!!
September 19, 2009: After weeks of trying, Grayson finally took a pacifier (or Ninni as we call them in the Ferrante household)! Of course he only wants the ugly ones they give you at the hospital. Luckily, Carroll Hospital sells the Gumdrop ones like this that are orange and a little cuter. :)
September 20, 2009: Weston doesn't really like to take naps in church because of all the excitement but when he's tired, he'll pretty much sleep anywhere. Clarissa texted me this picture of him sleeping. How cute! :)
September 23, 2009: A lady at our church gave us a potty for Weston. I am by no means expecting him to potty train just yet but I thought it couldn't hurt to introduce him to the idea. He had fun sitting on the potty...and then he had fun taking all the pieces apart!
September 24, 2009: Unfortunately we weren't able to do too many outside activities over the summer because I was SO pregnant and it was SO hot I couldn't handle it. Now that the pregnancy and the extreme heat is over, I love taking the boys outside. Weston just loves to explore things. We chased this grasshopper all around and it finally landed on Mike's jeans. Weston almost got a hold of it but at the last minute it hopped away. Lucky grasshopper.Friday, September 18, 2009

Week 10:365
September 1, 2009: After a morning at the doctor's (Grayson has an eye condition called Blepharitis which is a fancy word for excessive eye boogers. Hehe.) we spent some time working on hand-eye coordination with the rattle. I tried to get Grayson to hold it by himself...he only kept hold of it for about 3 seconds but long enough to get this picture!
September 2, 2009: A Wednesday morning lounging around. Here's all three of my babies. I don't get to photo Ginger too often but she was posing pretty good here, looking all dominant over her brothers.
