2011 Project 365: Week 11

Week 11!!!

March 12, 2011: We had breakfast at Burger King on this morning before heading to Lowe's for the Build and Grow Clinic. The boys were loving the acoustics in this little alcove and kept banging their feet on the bench. I can't say that I loved the "music" as much as they did but it was good to see them having fun!

March 13, 2011: The boys were invited to their friend Gavin's birthday party which was held at Bounce With Me! Weston took about a half hour to warm up to the inflatables but once he got a taste he couldn't get enough of the bouncy fun! I can't wait to take them again!

March 14, 2011: I kept Selina and Wyatt on this day. All 4 kids had so much fun playing with one another all day.

March 15, 2011: Just lounging around on a lazy Tuesday afternoon.

March 16, 2011: The boys and I went over to Meredith's salon. Her salon is in the basement of her parents where the guest bedroom is also. The boys got a little tired while we were there and climbed onto the bed to watch Nick Jr.

March 17, 2011: Mike and I were treated to the Chris Tomlin concert by our friends Justin and Lana. It was great to get out with good friends and enjoy some amazing worship together.

March 18, 2011: Our backyard is horrendous! It had crazy/random bushes and the ugliest fence ever; however, thanks to our wonderful neighbors and her handy father, we are on our way to getting a new fence and our bushes have been tore out! Here is Don and Mike working on getting the root of one of the bushes out of the ground! I can't wait until our backyard is completely done over but that might be a while.

2011 Project 365: Week 10

Week 10!!!

March 5, 2011: Weston pushed a chair up to the sink to wash his hands and naturally, Grayson thought he was big enough to do it too. Here he is halfway up on the sink turning the water on.

March 6, 2011: Another monkey-see, monkey-do moment. Weston had to have a napkin to wash his hands and then so did Grayson. He was so cute wiping his hands after every bite he took. I can't believe how big he is getting.

March 7, 2011: Another fun day with Grace! Her and the boys were playing Duck, Duck, Goose!


March 8, 2011: I took the morning and went shopping with my mom and the boys. One of the things I grabbed up were these cute little sandals for the boys. They wanted to put them on as soon as we got home. I love their little feet!


March 9, 2011: The boys always have such fun playing over at their friend Jordyn's even though Jordyn thinks Grayson is a horse! Haha.


March 10, 2011: Weston-doing his exercises in my tennis shoes!


March 11, 2011: Game night at church. The boys had so much fun playing games with their friends and playing on the inflatables. I hope our church does another game night soon!

2011 Project 365: Week 9

Week 9!!!


February 26, 2011: On this morning we took the boys to breakfast, then we went to Dr. Suess Story Time at Target, and then we went to Lowe's Build and Grow Clinic to make race cars. It was a busy morning but the boys really had a great time. Here they are sitting with Mike for story time at Target.

February 27, 2011: Another Grayson melt down. They are happening more and more frequently.

February 28, 2011: We finally made it over to my friend Lana's for a play date. The boys had a great time playing with Jordyn and they met a new friend, Josiah. Lana and I also got a workout in so that was a bonus!

March 1, 2011: Our babysitter for bible study called out sick on this day but I was determined to try and watch the video session anyway. I took the boys and stayed in the Welcome Center with them while class was being held in the Fellowship Hall. Here is Grayson taking a peek out the window at the woman watching Beth Moore. :)

March 2, 2011: My mom treated us to breakfast at IHOP. Yum! Weston insisted on keeping his hood up the entire time. Guess he was cold. :/

March 3, 2011: The funny thing about this couch nap is that right before he passed out (and I mean pass out!) Weston was whining cause he wanted his blankets. The first thing he said when he woke up nearly 2 hours later was "Hey, where are my blankets?" It was as if the nap never happened.

March 4, 2011: Happy Birthday to me!!!! I decided to spend the evening of birthday out to dinner at Cheesecake Factory with Jenn, Angel and Tara. Of course I got the red velvet cheesecake for dessert!

P.S. Sorry about the quality of the photos this week. I have been getting terrible with remembering to carry my camera around so all but one of these were taken on a cell phone. :)

2011 Project 365: Week 8

Week 8!!!

February 19, 2011: All packed and ready to go! This is our luggage ready to leave for a mini vacation the next day. We were dropping the boys off at my sisters and heading to Ocean City for a Minister's Conference.

February 20, 2011: Kids seem to have a fascination of cubbies, my child included. These are the cubbies in his classroom at church which he loves to climb in and out of.

February 21, 2011: A picture of all the cousins at my sisters house.

February 22, 2011: Weston getting sleepy at Fawne's. His older cousins kept him busy!

February 23, 2011: The view from our hotel room. Absolutely gorgeous!

February 24, 2011: The epitome of dinner time at our house. Weston is such an entertainer and Gray loves to laugh at him.

February 25, 2011: Somehow I ended up with no picture for this day but that's probably because I was working and didn't think about it when I got home. Brothers Services is where I work on Fridays, hence the logo above. :)

2011 Project 365: Week 7

Week 7!

February 12, 2011: We took the boys to Chik fil A for breakfast before hitting the Lowes Build and Grow Clinic. Looks like this is becoming a routine and I like it!

February 13, 2011: We had a few friends over for some good food and games. Our friend Nina brought her niece Anya so the boys had a friend too. BTW...This was taken with Weston's camera. Not sure if he actually took the picture but if so he did a pretty decent job.

February 14, 2011: Happy Valentine's Day! Mike and I decided when we started dating that we wouldn't celebrate V-Day due to our birthdays being surrounded by the date; however, now that the boys are a little older, I do enjoy giving them Valentine's gifts and making cookies (with a Kiss)! These are Peanut Butter Blossoms in the making. Weston helped roll the dough in sugar.

February 15, 2011: This day was the first day of my woman's bible study at church. We are doing Beth Moore's Breaking Free this time around and I am pumped! Hope is a great friend who agreed to watch the boys in the nursery while I'm in class. The boys adore Hope and always have so much fun with her, whether they are taking goofy pics in the mirror or playing TomCat on her phone. :)

February 16, 2011: This is Grayson. He's throwing a fit. I think it's hilarious to watch. (He doesn't agree).

February 17, 2011: The weather is beginning to warm up and I couldn't be happier! I'd forgotten how much I enjoy taking the boys out on the deck and soaking up the sun. We cleaned up all the toys outside and I was sure the sand would be yucky and breeding some kind of fungus but lo and behold it was clean and ready to be played with, which was lucky because I may have had an uprising on my hands had I told the boys they had to wait.

February 18, 2011: Have I mentioned how much I love my sister-in-law Meredith? Not only does she make my brother a very happy man, but she really made me a very happy woman on this day by giving my darling husband this handsome hair cut. Mike's hair was getting long and stringy (and a little homely looking), but she fixed that and I love his new look! So sexy!

2011 Project 365: Week 6

Week 6!!!

February 5, 2011: My sweet cat sleeping in one of her many awkward positions.

February 6, 2011: I won first place in Fantasy Football!! The small trophy was for coming in first in my league and the big trophy is for coming in first place over all among the three leagues our church had going!!

February 7, 2011: While playing upstairs on this day, the boys decided to get into the powder, and their bath paints. They made a complete mess (you can see the powder floating in the air) and were very pleased with themselves.

February 8, 2011: Every Tuesday morning we go to the Judy Center for a structured play group. Here is Weston holding up the "I" they painted with ice paint.

February 9, 2011: A normal Wednesday night, hanging out at church. This is Weston's blowing bubble stance. :D

February 10, 2011: Because Weston kept climbing in Grayson's crib, and Gray kept trying to climb in it, the screws were coming loose. I figured it was time to go ahead and convert the crib into a toddler bed. He hasn't fallen out yet and loves being able to climb in and out of his bed by himself.

February 11, 2011: We went to a surprise 18th birthday party for one of the boys at our church on this day. The kids were so cute dancing around and having a blast together. (Mike and Becky too apparently!)
